# Symbolic image composition

> Reuse AI-generated assets in deterministic visual explainers.

Use Arka's local compositor when the layout is reusable and only the assets
need to change:

```bash theme={null}
arka symbolic-image comparison \
  --left ai-first.png --right data-first.png \
  --left-title "AI FIRST" --right-title "DATA FIRST" \
  --output comparison.png
```

This uses Pillow locally, so it spends zero image-generation tokens. Symbolic
rules handle panel sizing, labels, dividers, and consistent layout. Use AI once
to create the underlying illustrations, then reuse those assets across many
explainers.
