# Chat, web search, और factual Q&A स्किल्स

Arka का chat engine factual प्रश्न, deep web research, math, weather, और location-aware search को संभालता है।

## Forced deep search

Deep web search को force करने के लिए `/` से prefix करें:

## Session memory

उत्तरों पर `[FROM SEARCH]` या `[FROM MEMORY]` tag लगते हैं (TTS के लिए हटा दिए जाते हैं)। Chat sessions एक session के भीतर follow-up प्रश्नों में context को बनाए रखते हैं।

## Location grounding

Hyperlocal परिणामों के लिए अपना location सेट करें:

arka map_download Kolkata           # शहर का map ~/.cache/arka/maps/ में cache करें
```

## Web search tuning

DuckDuckGo lookups दो env vars को मानते हैं। अगर हर retry पर timeout या error हो, तो chat failure लॉग करता है और reply रुकने के बजाय model knowledge से उत्तर देता है।

| Var | Default | Notes |
| - | - | - |
| `DDGS_TIMEOUT` | `20` | प्रति call timeout (seconds)। न्यूनतम `5`। |
| `DDGS_RETRIES` | `2` | fallback से पहले attempts। न्यूनतम `1`। |

धीमे या अस्थिर networks पर दोनों बढ़ाएँ:
